Meet My Show Girls

My current line of Shetland Sheepdogs is all based on the late Sheila Martin’s 'Shellthorn” breeding. Shellthorn Easter Bonnet, Sheila bequeathed to me and I am pleased to be campaigning her in Sheila's memory and I have achieved her Irish Champion status in may 2009.

Summer has had a wonderful start to her show career at the age of 6 months on the 19 th December 2009 with winning not only BPIB but also BIB . She was 4th in BIB Group and 1st in the BP Group at the Darwin Canine Society Open Show.
 
She continued her winning ways by gaining a VHC in MPB at the Manchester Championship show 21.01.10.
 
She has gone on from there to win BPIB at the Fleetwood Open Show held on the 31.01.10
 
Winning BPIB and Best Puppy In Show at Hebden Bride Open Show held on 06.02.10 a wonderful achievement which qualifies her for Crufts 2011 at just over 7 months old.
 
 
At the St Helen's Open show  she won PBIB and was 3rd BP group on 13.02.10
 
At the Dean and District Open Show held on 14.02 10 she won BPIB and BIB and  a 3rd in BP Group.


What a wonderful showing year Summer has had, gaining her JUNIOR WARRANT, with many first places at many Open and Championship Shows, also being placed at many Championship Shows.
This is a list of all the Shows that Summer has won First place, some Best in Breed, Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Show. In many Shows she has won more than one Class. What more could I have asked of my lovely girl?

We are please to show off our new bitch puppy Lesha. She has been with us a few weeks now and is a pleasure to own. She was breed by Debbie Fisher out of a bitch which was the litter sister to Champion Shellthorn Summer Blue.

Summer Blue was breed by the late Sheila Martin and I have yet again managed to obtain a bitch with Sheila`s breeding. We hope to start her show career during this summer, but we are in no rush as we are just enjoying having her as part of our family.
